Wielding twin lightsabres you can now dismember enemies and use even more powerful Force powers, including mind tricks and the new Force fury.

A new targeting system, more complex puzzles and even the chance to pilot a TIE Fighter create a more varied and nuanced game than its predecessor. The game will be released across multiple platforms in October 2010, along with a collectors edition of the game

It has been a number of years since Blizzard first announced that they were releasing a sequel to Starcraft, one of the most popular RTS games of all time. Starcraft is so popular in Korea that tournaments are televised and when the new game is released it will be a national holiday.

Instead of targeting all 3 different races in one release, Blizzard has said that there will be 3 releases all targeting just one race each.

The reason behind the change of plan is that it will allow for more detailed and elaborate campaigns. There is still no word on a release date.

There is expected to be a huge demand for this game. People will be gearing up to play it online where there is still a cult following of the original Starcraft.
