Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader’s fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV.

The saga of Starkiller, Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, is far from over as the best-selling Star Wars game ever continues along the dark path. Apparently killed at the end of the last game, a new clone of Starkiller has emerged and is being hunted by Darth Vader and the Empire.

Building on the all-action gameplay of the original you’ll be able to take control of one of the most powerful Force users ever seen in the Star Wars universe. Wielding twin lightsabres you can now dismember enemies and use even more powerful Force powers, including mind tricks and the new Force fury.

A new targeting system, more complex puzzles and even the chance to pilot a TIE Fighter create a more varied and nuanced game than its predecessor. With new state-of-the-art graphics and the darkest and most emotional storyline ever in a Star Wars game the Force will definitely need to be with you this time

May the force be with you

The game will be released across multiple platforms in October 2010, along with a collectors edition of the game

Kerrigan and her Zerg forces became the dominant faction in the Koprulu Sector, at the conclusion of Brood War. Having annihilated the United Earth Directorate’s Expeditionary Force, she defeated the Terran Dominion, and invaded the Protoss homeworld of Aiur. Arcturus Mengsk has been left to rebuild the Dominion, and is regrouping his power while fending off harassment from rival Terran groups. Valerian Mengsk, a character first seen in the novel Firstborn, will play an important role in Dominion politics, due to his position as heir to the throne.

Jim Raynor, whose role in the events of StarCraft and Brood War has been marginalized by the media under the Dominion’s control, has been reduced to mercenary status. Other new characters to the series include Tychus Findlay, first seen in the StarCraft II teaser cinematic. He is a marine who will be a member of Raynor’s crew, and Matt Horner, Raynor’s second in command, is a character originally featured in the novel Queen of Blades. Following the fall of Aiur and the demise of their matriarch Raszagal, the Protoss have pulled back to the dark templar homeworld of Shakuras. There, Artanis, a former student of Tassadar, is trying to join the Khalai Protoss and the dark templar.
